Description
It measures approximately 100 meters long, by 25 meters wide. The sand is fine and white. The water is warm, transparent with blue and green tones, shallow, and calm waves.
For its characteristics, it has been considered a natural pond recommended for swimming and snorkeling. The weekends and vacation times are frequented with many visitors, due to the tranquility here.
Puerto Angelito has restaurant service, rental for snorkeling equipment, hammocks, and parasols.
It is an ideal site to snorkel, the same as Manzanillo Beach and Carrizalillo Beach. These sites present optimal conditions for practicing this sport; they have enough transparency, are shallow, calm waves, and mild temperature. There are beautiful underwater landscapes, constituted mainly of marine flora and fauna and the sandy and rocky bottom.
There are rentals of snorkeling equipment available and you can take a boat ride to take trips to see the different beaches of Puerto Escondido or to participate in any other aquatic sport.
Location
This beach is located to the southwest of Puerto Escondido, about 500 meters walking until you reach the beach. Walking you can arrive at a footpath located at the border of Principal Beach.
